Have just returned from last meeting with my consultant, Debbie @ Southampton, before I am admitted! After entering the room fairly upbeat and smiling I am quickly reminded of how serious my condition is, as today was the day she went into depth my next lot of treatment and transplant details and what can go wrong!!! I have read ‘The 7 Steps’ but when it gets technical and nasty I stop, as don’t want to think about it!! So, I am now going to push that all out (not to the back) of my mind and concentrate on what we are having for dinner!!!

13th July – Billingshurst

Some people are arriving here from my friend’s Facebook links and think there’s nothing to see – especially if you are looking at it on a tablet or phone! But… it’s early days and I will be starting my ‘blogging’ in earnest from tomorrow after I have been to my final appointment in Southampton and before they install my Hickman line on the 24th July. My full time admission date is Sunday the 27th July and, subject to how I feel from day to day, I will be updating regularly. In the meantime you should see a menu tab that you can explore which will lead you to other pages on here that explain a bit about my background and pre-condition in St. Richards.
